This Privacy Policy explains how Amanda Jensen (trading as The Authentic Woman) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information through the website at theauthenticwomansway.com and the A Moment for Me web app (together, the Services). We aim to handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law.

2. Information we may collect

When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, authentication details and account preferences. We may also collect the answers you choose to provide during daily check-ins, selected activities, completion history and optional private reflections.

When you visit the Services, technical information such as device type, browser, IP address and basic usage information may be processed for security, performance and service improvement. If you contact us or buy an external product, we may collect information needed to respond or complete that interaction.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and manage accounts; provide daily suggestions; save your progress and reflections; improve reliability and usability; respond to support requests; protect the Services; and meet legal obligations.

If you separately opt in to marketing, we may send news, resources and information about books, programs and services. You can unsubscribe at any time. Creating an account does not require agreeing to marketing emails.

4. AI-assisted suggestions

A Moment for Me combines a curated activity library with optional AI-assisted personalisation. To generate suggestions, the choices you make during a check-in (your feeling, need, available time and preference) may be processed by an AI service provider — currently delivered through our app platform, Lovable, using AI models provided by OpenAI — to select among pre-approved activities and write a short encouraging line.

If you add a private note with a check-in, it is only sent to the AI service if you have separately opted in; otherwise your note stays private to you. Your written reflections are never sent to AI providers. AI-generated suggestions are general self-reflection ideas, not professional advice or diagnosis.

5. Email marketing and GoHighLevel

If you opt in, we securely share your first name, email address and marketing consent with our customer relationship and email platform, GoHighLevel, to send the emails you requested. We do not send your moods, check-in answers or private reflections to GoHighLevel.

Your consent is recorded when you opt in. If you later withdraw consent or delete your account, we notify GoHighLevel so the marketing tag is removed from your contact and emails stop. Marketing messages also include an unsubscribe option.

6. Service providers and overseas processing

The Services are hosted by Lovable, which provides our app hosting, database and account emails; your account data is stored in South Korea. If you opt in to marketing, GoHighLevel (United States) stores your first name and email address for our mailing list. The AI provider used for suggestions also processes information outside Australia (United States).

We disclose only information reasonably needed for the relevant service and take reasonable steps to protect personal information in our control. A current list of providers is available on request at support@thecreativegeek.online.

7. Security and retention

We aim to use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and secure account systems. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here or required by law. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page in the app, which removes your account information, check-ins and reflections. Basic records we must keep for legal, security or consent purposes (such as marketing consent history) may be retained as required.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. You may update your preferences, withdraw marketing consent, or ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

9. Cookies and analytics

The app uses essential cookies and similar technology only to keep you signed in and maintain security. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If optional analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated first.

10. Children and external links

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Services are designed primarily for adults. Links to external websites, books and resources are governed by those providers’ own policies; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services change. The current version and effective date will be available on the website. Where appropriate, we will notify registered users of material changes.
